3Ds!

I am looking foward to the 3DS coming out as it is rather different from the previous DSs and it (of course) is in 3D. Could anyone possibly tell me if there is going to be a camera on it like the DSI.

Not me i can wait, it doesn't seem that great to me on my own, only with friends, just a personal opinion so no arguments please.

I was originally saving up for the 3DS, and was hoping to get it on launch, until I was informed of the price. Personally, I think that charging £220 for the 3DS is just too much; it's more expensive than both the Xbox 360, and the Wii. I can understand that it's the first of its kind, and has successfully filled a niche in the market, but the price is just way overcharged.

I'll be leaving it for around a year, to see if the prices drop, and by how much. I will not pay anything more than £150, which is what I had first inteded spending on it.

Yes, I agree, 220 pounds is not a little but very much overpriced. I will probably get a dsi or weight until a later version of the 3Ds. There is bound to be one.

A later version of the 3DS will ultimately be more expensive because it'll be improved, like the DSI XL.

Then do you think i should get a dsi instead?

It's up to you. The DSi is good, and is a lot better than the DS Phat, and the DS Light.

I would go for the DSi, seeing as it's got many features to keep you entertained for hours, even if you don't own any games. The line-up for the 3DS isn't that great, so don't expect there to be any good games on the market on its release. If you had the money for the 3DS, I would go for it, but it is expensive, and may not appeal to you as much as it might to another person, depending on what you would want it for. The only major difference between the DSi and the 3DS is the price, and the fact that one is in 3D. I think that there is an upcoming event in which you will be able to test the 3DS out yourself, so I would suggest going to that if your not sure about whether you want to buy one.

I wouldn't go for any of the previous models of the DS, as they are rather limited in what they can do, and the quality of play wouldn't be as good.

on what you have said I think it is best to go for the DSi.
