Yes, the name is awful. I bet like most things it'll grow onto me, because I know I hated hearing the "Wii" at first. The controller; it seems like Nintendo's gimmick to be "innovative" and round in their audience again. This time, being a little more outlandish than usual. So you can move the controller around to get "new feels to games" and stuff like that. And y'know, that's fine, but for some gamers like me, we just don't feel like getting up and throwing ourselves across the room just to play something. Call me lazy or whatever, but I prefer sitting there just mashing a few buttons.
Also, say your little hypothetical brother pushes it off the table and the screen cracks. How much is a replacement controller gonna cost? By the looks of it now, it won't be cheap.
Being the the little child I am though, I'll succumb to Nintendo's curse of oh-so kiddie environment and dish out some money to buy it.
